Three former managers of the St. Petersburg branch of the VIP Bank were detained on Monday. According to Fontanka.ru, this is the former manager of the branch Andrei Belov and two security managers - Oleg Timofeev and Sergey Ishchev.
Now their names are associated with the successor of the VIP Bank - an Incredbank. This name has recently been mentioned in connection with Alexei Frenkel, arrested in Moscow on suspicion of murder of the deputy chairman of the Central Bank Andrei Kozlov.
All three were detained in the framework of a criminal case, instituted on the fact of the explosion of the car of the former vice president of the St. Petersburg vip-bank Denis Kislitsyn. On Tuesday, the court must choose a preventive measure for the detained.
The "Zhiguli" Kislitsyn exploded on May 14, 2004, exactly three months after Kislitsyn himself was released from custody. He was accused of assigning 12 million rubles, which allegedly disappeared along the way from the Moscow office of the bank to St. Petersburg. Then Kislitsyn stated that the bank’s leadership wanted to get rid of it.
