
The leadership of the Sverdlovsk region on Monday decided to transfer money as material assistance to the family of priest Oleg Stupichkin, who was killed on the night of January 7 in the village of Neivo-Shaytansky, Interfax reports.

As already reported , on the night of January 7, in the restored temple of Peter and Paul in the village of Neivo-Shaytan, Alapaevsky district, after the fire was extinguished, the body of the Church of the Church of Oleg Stupichkina, born in 1966, with signs of violent death, was discovered.
21 icons were stolen from the church, including the work of the 18th century. To conceal the crime, the attackers set fire to wooden benches in the temple.
The same night, two suspects were detained - local residents, previously repeatedly convicted. The Alapaevsk prosecutor’s office on the fact of the incident opened criminal cases. Currently, both suspects of a crime have been charged under Part 2 of Article 105 (murder) and part 4 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery).
