
The body of a DPRK citizen with traces of beatings was found in one of the hostels of Vladivostok, the regional Department of Internal Affairs reported. The exact causes of death are established, reports ITAR-TASS.
In recent months, this is the second case of the death of North Korean citizens in the regional center of Primorye. On December 10, a group of adolescents, while intoxicated, attacked the citizens of North Korea and inflicted multiple blows to them with arms, legs, brass knuckles on the head and body. As a result of the beatings, two of the victims died.
On December 19, the Primorsky Krai prosecutor's office announced the detention of five teenagers suspected of attacking North Korean citizens. Later, by decision of the Federal Court of the Leninsky District, Vladivostok, were detained. Then the four teenagers were released on a recognizance not to leave.
Detained 15-16 years old, all of them study in secondary schools and secondary special educational institutions. The actions of minors with a preliminary investigation are qualified under part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing serious harm to health that entailed the death of the victim).
Last year, 247 crimes against foreigners were registered in Primorye, in 2005 - 181.
