At the Den Bosch, which is passing in the Dutch city , on charges of the head coach of the Russian national football team, Guiddinka of Football of taxes, the judges decided to postpone the prosecutor’s performance planned initially on Friday, at which he should state his vision of the case and declare what punishment he requires for the accused.
According to RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the Netherlands Prosecutor's Office Valentina Hong, on February 2 and 6, the judges decided to hear witnesses. In this regard, the performance of the lawyers Hiddinka and the accused together with the coach of his accountant and the tax adviser to Simon Van Den Booma was also postponed on February 6. At the same time, the dates of the provision of the word and lawyers will determine the judges later. As for the court decision, it will be announced two weeks after the end of the meetings.
Yesterday, the judges rejected the claim of lawyers who spoke twice demanding to stop the process.
According to Hong, for a crime of Hiddink and Van Den Boom, they are accused of incorporated or incomplete taxes - they face up to 6 years in prison or a fine of up to € 45 thousand. If this offense has been committed repeatedly, then the prison term can be increased by one third, and the fine can be taken by € 45 thousand euros from each fact of payment evasion.
Hus Hiddink is accused of that in 2002-2003. He did not pay taxes, reporting the wrong home address. Dutch tax authorities believe that the coach lived in the Netherlands, but gave the Belgian address so as not to pay taxes.
Hiddink himself claims that he really lived in Belgium and, as expected, paid taxes there. “I categorically emphasize that there was no fraud,” he said earlier. “I regularly paid all taxes, and my conscience is pure.”
Recall that Hiddink on February 7 will be in the Netherlands with the Russian national team, which he will bring against the national team of Holland in a friendly meeting.
