The consequences of the energy-starting in Sochi, where last day interruptions in electricity were observed due to heavy snowfalls, were eliminated on Thursday morning. The city is connected to energy supply and there are no more restrictions in the supply of electricity, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.

"From 5:00, a gradual connection of the life support objects of the city of Sochi to the sources of electricity began. In the near future, the entire Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory will be connected to the Sochi TPP," the representative of the ministry said.

The RAO "UES of Russia" also reported that Sochi were fully connected and connected to the Unified Energy System of Russia. The representative of the RAO also emphasized that for the first time since the accident, two energy lines were connected and earned, which were launched at 1:20 Moscow time and 3:30, respectively. As Interfax was told in the Ministry of Emergencies on Thursday morning, there is currently a planned connection of all energy facilities.

“The work of the Sochi energy center has been completely restored, it is synchronized with the country's energy system and receives energy overflows from other energy sounds,” said Tatyana Milyaeva, deputy head of the media department of the RAO of Russia. According to her, almost all consumers are already connected and receive electricity in full. According to the head of the RAO department for work with the media, Margarita Nagoga, the city is connected on two trunk lines and electricity is served to all consumers. She refuted some media reports about energy interruptions, RIA Novosti notes.

"We refute the information that the city is de -energized. Sochi power supply is carried out on two main lines that were included in the middle of the night," said Nagoga.

Almost two days in the south of Russia, power engineers were not able to completely overcome the consequences of the largest failure in the Energy System of the Black Sea coast in recent years. The automatic shutdown of power lines supplying Sochi electricity occurred on January 30 at 16:57. The power engineers managed to partially restore power supply, but on January 31 at 05:35 another shutdown occurred, since the second block of the Sochi TPP could not withstand the load reaching 70-75 square meters.

The cause of the distress was a powerful cyclone with a gusty wind - 25-30 meters per second and wet snow. In recent days in the Sochi area, the air temperature ranges in the area of ​​zero degrees.

Due to the break of the wires of power lines, the settlements of the resort zone from Tuapse to Adler remained without light on the last Tuesday. There is still no exact data about how much a person has affected the energy unit. However, only about 400 thousand people live in Sochi, there are 120 kindergartens, 97 schools, 65 boiler houses and 228 sanatorium-resort institutions.

As a result of failures with the supply of energy in the area of ​​the accident, classes in the city’s schools were canceled, and kindergartens were closed. However, Sochi Airport continued to receive planes, the railway worked. All hospitals in the territory of the Greater Sochi were connected to the autonomous sources of electricity, and the hospital number 8 in Krasnaya Polyana was provided by electricity from the Kranopolyanskaya hydroelectric power station.

When restoring the work of the energy center to the power supply, the most important objects of the life support of the city, hospitals, boiler rooms and water treatment facilities were primarily connected.
