Near the television center "Ostankino" was detained mentally abnormal. He was mistaken for a terrorist

Near the Ostankino television center on Akademika Korolev Street, a man who may have an explosive device is detained. This was reported to ITAR-TASS in law enforcement agencies of the capital.

The man was detained at about 18:00 near the building of the television center. A suspicious subject was found in a man in a bag, a dog handler with a dog specially trained in search of explosives was called to the scene.

The Moscow Internal Affairs Directorate later explained: "Near one of the entrances of the television center from the side of Korolev Street, a mentally abnormal person was really detained, but no dangerous objects were found under him."
