Eight Afghan civilians died on Sunday during a shootout, reports Reuters citing local authorities.

According to the agency, the shootout, in which international military units participated, began after the Harror-Household undermined the car.

“According to initial data, eight people died,” said Abdul Gafur, a representative of the local police.

The incident occurred in the east of the country in the city of Jalalabad.
