Madina Albegova contacted the police and said that the day before, at about two o’clock in the afternoon, her husband left the house in his own VAZ-2107 car for a walk with his son from his first marriage and did not return. As reported yesterday in the Prigorodny District Court, at the site where Albegov’s body was found, investigators found several parts from a Makarov pistol. Experts suggested that the judge was killed in another place and then taken to a desert area. When information appeared in the investigation that Albegov’s first wife and his minor son might be involved in the crime, operatives with a metal detector checked the yard of their house, where they found buried the remaining components of the weapon and bullets identical to those taken from the judge’s body.
“There is enough evidence in the investigation materials to qualify this crime as committed on the basis of hostile relations or jealousy,” the republican prosecutor’s office noted yesterday.
On Monday, the judge's ex-wife, their son and the woman's 40-year-old partner were arrested. The prosecutor's office has not yet disclosed exactly what role the teenager played in the murder of his father, specifying only that it was the boy who first confessed.
