The channel "Russia" was in the lead here: "Stolen Victory" - a film by Alexei Denisov about the Russian corps that fought in France during the First World War; “Burnt wings. Betray the designer" - about the dramatic fate of the creator of ekranoplans, Rostislav Alekseev; "Leon Trotsky. The secret of the world revolution." On “Russia,” “Obvious-Incredible” is experiencing its fourth return to viewers, and in general, all this testifies to the healthy moderate conservatism that should distinguish the state channel, which has been expected from it for so long and finally, it seems, has been expected.

"Leningrad" ("First"). Many thanks to all the actors who participated in the film, but special thanks to Kirill Lavrov for his role as the Leningrad radio announcer who measured the time of the tragedy. The screening of this feature series was actually preceded in January by the documentary film “Blockade” (“Festival Cinema. Out of Competition”, “Culture”), where authentic footage of besieged Leningrad was mounted without music and voice-over text - only on noise.

The theme of the 90th anniversary of the February Revolution sounded a little funny in “Judge for yourself” (“First”), but it turned out to be appropriate in “Meanwhile” (“Culture”), as well as in the films “Imperial Train. Fatal Route" by Leonid Mlechin (TVC) and "Leon Trotsky..." ("Russia").

“100 Million for a Wheel” (“New Wonders of the World,” “First”) is a funny and smart story about a unique hydraulic structure built in Scotland. “New Miracles...” is distinguished by both a new style and a unique existence on the current television airwaves - their releases appear once a year. At the time, they came out with the same frequency, for example, “Jolly Fellows”, but that was once...

“Minute of Glory” (“First”) - finally the channel was able to create a program that was truly entertaining in spirit, breaking out of the vicious circle of exploiting a set of disgusted TV stars for this purpose. Unknown amateur artists surprised and delighted with original numbers, and Garik Martirosyan in the image of a “lyrical humorist-host” turned out to be an order of magnitude higher than in the context of the “Comedy Club” (TNT).

Anti-event. And God be with him. When there are enough good programs on the air, the rubbish is not so annoying.
