A church watchman was killed in the Moscow Region

In the city of Kotelniki in the Lyubertsy district of the Moscow region, on Thursday night, an elderly watchman of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God Vladimir Kudryavtsev was killed, Interfax was told on Saturday in the Union of Orthodox citizens.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, criminals burst on the night of Kudryavtsev on Thursday night. The watchman entered the battle with them and managed to activate the police warning system.

The criminals caused Kudryavtsev multiple wounds with an ax, from which he died in the hospital shortly after hospitalization.

The police who arrived at the scene of the crime could not detain anyone.

The interlocutor of the agency noted that the doors of the temple remained on the castle. Meanwhile, according to him, the goal of the criminals was to rob the church.
