The head of the Moscow Helsinki Group, Lyudmila Alekseeva, suggested that the march would take place “under the tacit patronage of the authorities,” otherwise it would not be able to gather people. It is very similar to the truth, since the organizing committee included Mikhail Leontiev and Alexander Prokhanov, who until now have not been seen in cooperation with ESM, a marginal and dwarf organization. Of course, the authorities need the “Imperial March” - as a counterbalance to the “March of Dissent”, which should take place in mid-April. And the “dissenters” will be more decent people than the “imperial” ones - they won’t march on Easter.
