The trial in the case of the murder of banker Ivan Kivividi will begin on April 11

The Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow extended for 6 months the term of detention of Vladimir Khutseshvili, accused of the murder of Ivan Kivilidi, chairman of the board of Rosbusinessbank. Thus, the request of the prosecutor's office was satisfied, ITAR-TASS reports. The consideration of the case will begin on April 11.

In the bench of the defendants, Vladimir Khutsishvili, who is accused under Article 103 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR - "Murder" and Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "Causing death by negligence."

Vladimir Khutsishvili was detained in Moscow on June 30, 2006. According to RIA Novosti in the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate, reliable information was received about involvement in the murder of Khutsishvili, which worked as deputy Kivividi.

After the murder, the suspect went abroad, and recently received operational information that he should arrive in Moscow. On June 30, 2006, at the house of 7 on Efremov Street, Mur Khutsishvili was detained.

The Chairman of the Board of Bank Kivividi was delivered to the Central Design Bureau with signs of acute poisoning on August 1, 1995 in the evening from the Rosbusinessbka office on Mytnaya Street. He died, without regaining consciousness, three days later.

On August 2, the bank secretary was hospitalized from the same office, who also died in the hospital.

Harminal experts found that the dead were poisoned by a potent substance, which the criminals applied to the telephone in the Kivividi office.

Two months after the murder of the businessman on October 31, 1995, 30 days, on suspicion of involvement in the crime, was detained by a member of the board of directors of Rosbusinessbank, which was headed by Kivevelidi, Vladimir Khutsishvili. On November 30, 1995, he was released for unprovenness.

Later, on the basis of the new data received, Khutsishvili was put on the wanted list, and arrested in the summer of 2006.

Earlier, informed sources in the power structures informed Interfax that a "fighting poisoning agent that is not in service with the Russian army" was used to kill Kivividi. The results of the examination showed that the poison was made from a substance produced at a military-chemical plant in the city of Shikhani of the Saratov region.
