
The Government of the Russian Federation at a meeting on Thursday approved a bill on paid roads. "The purpose of the bill is the development of a network of roads, improving the conditions and safety of road traffic, attracting investment in the road sector," said the Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, who acted as a speaker on this issue, Interfax reports.
He emphasized that according to the bill, paid roads can only be in state or municipal property.
