In Izhevsk, a 17-year-old anti-fascist died after beating by skinheads

On Monday, the Prosecutor's Office of Udmurtia started a criminal case on the murder of a 17-year-old anti-fascist Stanislav Korepanov. The case was opened under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, which entailed by negligence the death of the victim). Four residents of Izhevsk aged 17 to 20 years on suspicion of brutal beating of a young man, who later died from injuries, were detained. One of the detainees, the 17-year-old is not working anywhere, previously not convicted by Izhevsk, has already given a confession, Interfax reports with reference to the prosecutor of the industrial region of Izhevsk Alexei Popov. According to Radio Echo of Moscow, a friend of Stanislav has already identified one of the killers.

The teenager died in the hospital, without consciousness, on the night of March 31 as a result of injuries received in a mass fight that occurred on March 27. The funeral of Stanislav Korepanov will take place on Tuesday April 3, 2007.

It is known about several cases when the young anti -fascists of Izhevsk were attacked. In February 2004, Oleg S. could not recover from the traumatic brain injury for almost a year after beating, the website of the Russia young movement reports. The trial in this case lasted more than a year, but the court in the actions of the right radicals did not find political motives for the crime.

In August 2006, an antifacist's teenager was cut with a knife, but the case was stopped "for the release of the guilty person." However, it has not yet reached the murders in Izhevsk.
