The head of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate Vladimir Pronin has already forbidden his subordinates to clarify to journalists about the nationality of criminals and suspects. This, according to Interfax, Pronin himself said at a joint meeting of the heads of law enforcement agencies of the city and the Presidium of the Interethnic Council of the Government of Moscow.
Thus, Pronin supported the idea of a legislative ban on the Moscow City Duma to mention the media of the nationality of offenders.
“We must stop indicating nationality. We can say: a citizen of Russia or not a citizen of Russia,” said the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate. Recall that earlier Boris Gryzlov, a former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and now the speaker of the State Duma, also spoke out in support of this initiative. However, against the scandalous bill were expressed in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation .
In addition to this, at a meeting of leaders, Vladimir Pronin raised another topic. He recalled that only the migration service, but not the police, can engage in checking compliance with migration legislation and checking passports.
