In Moscow, they are not ready to seriously discuss the issue of the placement of Russian radar stations (radar) in Abkhazia. Recall that the other day, the President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh made such a proposal. Commenting on this issue, the first deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Denisov said that Russia did not need radar intelligence.

"Let's leave this issue for the heading of the curios of a newspaper," Andrei Denisov said to reporters.

Recall that the president of the unrecognized republic, Sergei Bagapsh, invited Russia to establish the tracking station in Sukhumi. According to Bagapsha, this may be a response to the possible placement of a radar station in Georgia, which is part of the US system.

The President of Abkhazia recalled that today Georgia remains the country, for it, "to put it mildly, unfriendly", and by and large - a country that is preparing for war. Bagapsh is sure that the station in Georgia will monitor not only Abkhazia, but also the whole south of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
