The Prosecutor General’s Office revealed numerous violations in the work of Roskultura officials

Officials of the Federal Agency for Culture and Mass Communications (Roskultura) of Russia were brought to disciplinary liability for numerous violations in the work identified during the audit of the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia. In Roskulture, they began to eliminate them.

As noted in the report of the Prosecutor General’s Office, during the audit of the execution of budget legislation, numerous violations were “identified” at the Federal Agency. So, violations at all stages of preparation and conduct of trading, conclusion and execution of state contracts were allowed.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, in 2006 there were cases of non -contemporary placement of orders. Reception of work on the preservation of cultural heritage sites was carried out without the participation of the relevant protection authority, which issued permission to carry out these works.

In total, the head of the Department of Affairs, Deputy Head of the Department of Affairs, was involved in various types of disciplinary sanction-head of the administrative and economic department, Deputy Head of the Department of Investments, Preservation of Cultural Heritage and Material and Technical Development of the Industry, Deputy Head of the Board and Legal Administration-Head of the Department of federal state unitary enterprises and joint-stock companies.

In addition, the Prosecutor General’s Office revealed a violation of legislation at the disposal of federal property. "(Roskultura) improperly exercises financial control over the activities of subordinate institutions," the report says.

In order to eliminate the revealed violations, the Prosecutor General’s Office made representations to the head of Roskultura Mikhail Shvydkom. Based on the results of the consideration of the representations of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the leadership of Roskultura issued an order and determined specific measures to eliminate the identified violations and responsible for their implementation.
