The triple increase in investment in 2007 will allow the Moscow Metro to end the "Dolgostro". So, by the end of the year, the Trubnaya and Sretensky Boulevard, the construction work on which has been underway for more than 10 years will be commissioned.
The Station "Trubnaya" of the Lublin line of the Moscow Metro will open in August 2007. The new station will have one lobby, from which passengers will be able to go out to the colored boulevard, as well as in the areas of residential and office buildings. In the center of the hall, a transition to the Serpukhov-Timiryazevsky line will be built, RBC reports.
On the pipe pipe arches will be installed waterproof decorative umbrellas from white fiberglass. Portals, cornices and travel walls will be lined with marble of light tones, while the columns will be designed in dark green tones. Between the columns will be installed in stained -glass windows in the style of the old city and put benches.
Already from March 28, additional passenger places were introduced on the Lublin and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya branches of the Moscow metro, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Moscow Metro. “So, from 6 to 8 a.m. on the Lublin line, 6 thousand seats will be added in each direction,” the press service added.
According to the metro workers, the nodal nature of the new stations will entail an increase in passenger traffic, and therefore in the leadership of the subway prefer to prepare for this in advance, bringing additional movable compositions to the line.
The Station "Trubnaya" for the metro is "long -term construction". It, coupled with a nearby station "Sretensky Boulevard", has been being built for more than 10 years. The Sretensky Boulevard station is planned to be opened in November this year.
In total, in 2007, it is planned to commission 15 kilometers, 5 metro stations and two transplanted nodes in the Moscow Metro. In addition to the completion of construction at the Trubnaya and Sretensky Boulevard stations, in December it is planned to open traffic on the Park Victory Park-Strogino (through the Kuntsevskaya station).
To implement these plans, the leadership of the subway is counting on the growth of financing. According to the head of the capital's metro, Dmitry Gayev, the Moscow government this year should increase the volume of investments invested in the development of the Moscow Metro: compared to 2006, financial assistance will increase three times and amount to 30 billion rubles.
According to Gaev, for the construction of one kilometer of metro (taking into account the construction of stations), about 2.2 billion rubles are required. At the same time, the similar construction of the metro lines in Western Europe for similar technology is much more expensive - costs are from 80 to 100 million euros (approximately 3.4 billion rubles).
