Yushchenko prepares the review of judges of the Constitutional Court of the Court of Ukraine in order to prevent them from canceling the decree on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada

President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko on Tuesday again met with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. According to his press service at the end of the meeting, the position of the head of state regarding the settlement of the political crisis in the country remained unchanged. Yushchenko is convinced that a compromise between political forces is possible only if early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, which will make it possible to overcome the crisis, reports UNIAN .

Then the president met with the leaders of law enforcement agencies - with the head of the Ministry of Defense, the Minister of the Interior, the acting Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars, Prosecutor General, Head of the Border Service, Head of the General Staff, Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Head of the State Guard Department.

During this meeting, the president emphasized that law enforcement officers must observe a neutral attitude to political forces, and the exit from the crisis is the case of politicians. The Minister of the Interior Vasily Tsushko emphasized that representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs follow this rule.

Today, Yushchenko will meet with US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, William Taylor.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine they are waiting for a new "unconstitutional" decree of the president. This time we are talking about blocking the work of the Constitutional Court (COP) of Ukraine, which tomorrow should begin consideration of cases of the legality of the decree of Yushchenko on the dissolution of the parliament and the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, led by Yanukovych regarding the Decree of the President.

Yushchenko is ready to sign a decree on the recall of six judges appointed in the Constitutional Court of the president’s quota. The basis for their recall, the sources of the Ukrainian newspaper Kommersant are called the failure to rejuvenate for eight months of work by this composition of the court not a single decision.

Despite the fact that officially in Yushchenko’s secretariat, this information is categorically rejected, the representative of the president in the KS Viktor Shapoval is sure that the head of state has all the legal grounds for this. The Party of Regions know about the impending decree, but they refuse to believe that Viktor Yushchenko will put his signature under him.

According to the newspaper, Yushchenko will sign the corresponding decree today. According to the source of the publication in the president’s secretariat, the decision to recall the judges of the KS Yushchenko made after consultations with the leaders of the opposition factions BYUT and our Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and Vyacheslav Kirilenko. Having removed six judges from the Constitutional Court, the president can thus block the work of the court, which was already tomorrow, on April 11, appointed hearings on the proposal of 53 people's deputies on the unconstitutionality of the presidential decree on the early termination of powers of the Verkhovna Rada Vallonia.

The information that Yushchenko is preparing a corresponding decree was confirmed in the Party of Regions. “My sources told me that the draft of such a decree has already been prepared. In all likelihood, we will ignore it. But what if he declared a war tomorrow with the next decree?” Said the head of the parliamentary committee on justice Sergey Kivalov. “I'm just in shock. I think that this is still not initiating. Apparently, no one says that this is illegal.”

If Yushchenko calls the judges appointed by the president’s quota, then this may indicate that he is not sure of the possibility of the CS to make a decision in his favor. It can be assumed that the president began to include after his meetings with the judges of the Constitutional Court, according to which Yushchenko could conclude that the court of judges loyal to him, not in his favor, said the publication.

It should be noted that in order for the CS to be incapable, Yushchenko is not enough to recall six judges. In order for the court to be able to open a meeting, there should be at least 12 people. According to the publication, the judge of the KS Pyotr Statsyuk can help the president, the only judge appointed in the Constitutional Court by the quota of the Verkhovna Rada from the Our Ukraine faction. Stetsyuk is ready to resign the authority of the judge of the CS.

The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday will hold a conciliation council of the leadership of parliament, leaders of factions and heads of parliamentary committees. It is expected that the Council will discuss the political situation in the country.

In Kyiv, large -scale protests are resumed

Supporters of the parliamentary and government coalition on Tuesday will resume large-scale protests in Kyiv against the dissolution of the President of the Verkhovna Rada.

“We will increase our presence, and already from Tuesday-environment of people there will be 50-60 thousand,” Vadim Kolesnichenko, a member of the Party of the Party of Regions Party Party, told RIA Novosti.

And representatives of the Opposition President Party "Our Ukraine" not far from the Maidan of Independence on the European Square are being erected for rallies. "An unlimited protest in support of the dissolution of parliament President Yushchenko will begin on Wednesday," the party’s press service said.
