One of the leaders of the Party of Regions Taras Chornovil said that the party would impeach for the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko if he usurpates the authorities, the Izvestia newspaper writes.
Chornovil said: "Health problems are manifested in all the actions of the president. Yushchenko himself does not want to investigate his poisoning. He inhibits the actions of the General Prosecutor's Office." "But impeachment is an extreme measure. It can only be applied if Yushchenko decides to usurp power by introducing a direct presidential rule," he said
He also stated that the decree on the dissolution of the Rada is "a consequence of the serious and physical state of the president." "Yushchenko wanted to make a ricense rabbit with a prying rabbit. He threw the fake draft decree on the dissolution of the parliament, then he appointed early elections to May 27, he said that he was ready to transfer them. At the same time, he rejects the offer of deputies to hold the parliamentary and presidential elections at the same time. Yushchenko says that there was no reason to remove the president from the authorities, although it was he who had fired Ukraine into a dead end." Chornovil.
According to the representative of the Party of Regions, "the inept actions of the president can provoke a civil conflict." In his opinion, the fact that rallies of the opposing forces take place in Kiev in neighboring areas is already dangerous.
However, Chornovil claims, neither the president nor the leader of the Ukrainian opposition Yulia Tymoshenko enjoy the special confidence of citizens. Therefore, according to him, their supporters will take the second and third place in the election - after the Party of Regions. In his opinion, the alignment of forces in the new Verkhovna Rada will be the same as now.
Recall that the political crisis in Ukraine continues on April 2, when President Viktor Yushchenko signed a decree on the dissolution of the parliament and the appointment of new elections for May 27. After that, a group of people's deputies appealed to the Constitutional Court with a request to consider the presidential decree for his constitutionality.
