Foreign Ministry of Ukraine: The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation excessively uses Russian symbols

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine is preoccupied with the excessive, in his opinion, using Russian symbols of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.

“We understand that the activities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet based on the territory of Ukraine are connected using state symbols. But it must be a sense of proportion. It seems to me that in no city in the Russian Federation there are so many Russian tricolors as in Sevastopol. The abuse of the state symbols of one state in the territory of another is nothing more than disrespect for the sovereignty of the latter,” said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ogryzko in an interview with the newspaper "Mirror of the Week", published on Saturday.

"Again, I emphasize that the issue of Russian state symbols in the places of deployment of the Black Sea Fleet is an exclusively issue of measure, and not the use or non -use of the flag as such," the deputy minister said.

Ogryzko believes that "it is necessary to limit the use of the state symbolism of Russia in Sevastopol by a certain number of fleet objects - then it will look normal, and not the way now, a veiled imposition of certain characters."
