The movement of trains on the Sokolnichesky line of the capital's metro on Sunday at about 21:00 was interrupted for 20 minutes due to the fact that one of the passengers jumped onto the rails during movement.
According to the witness of the incident, after the train departure from the Sokolniki metro station, the young man opened the door between the wagons and began to descend to the rails.
One of the passengers reported this to the driver, after which he used emergency braking and the train stopped in the tunnel between the Sokolniki and Preobrazhenskaya Square station. The voltage on the contact rail was also disconnected.
Then the driver and police officer came to the car. After negotiations with a young man who was under the car, he was persuaded to climb back, RIA Novosti reports.
After the power is turned on, the train arrived at the Preobrazhenskaya Square station, where the culprit of the incident already expected the police outfit. The reasons for the act of a young man will be established by law enforcement agencies.
