Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaidi, who is on a working visit to the United States, was hospitalized at the Houstonian Clinic of St. Luke, where he will be performed, the head of the Prime Minister Giy Zurabishvili said on Tuesday on the air of the Georgian television.

According to him, Nogaidel feels normally, "as is appropriate to a person who the other day has an operation." At the same time, the head of the protocol service emphasized that "we are not talking about a crisis situation," reports Interfax.

As the director of the Republican Clinical Hospital in Tbilisi, Professor Nika Kipshidze in Tbilisi, has been damaged by Nogaidel, two heart valves were damaged, which will be replaced by titanium transplants.

“It is very good that he agreed to the operation, it is simple. The faster it will do, the better,” Kipshidze said. According to the professor, the postoperative period will last no more than seven to ten days. “Two weeks later, Nogaidil will return to Tbilisi,” said the director of the Republican Clinical Hospital.

The operation of Nogaidil will be done by the surgeon Charles Fraser, known in the West.
