"Las Vegas" for Russian fans of gambling can be accommodated in Estonia

In connection with the tightening of the rules of the activities of gambling establishments, Russian casino owners plan to move to continue entrepreneurship to Estonia.

As the ARipaev Estonian business circle reported on Thursday, the tightening of Russian laws on gambling forces entrepreneurs in this area to look for an alternative.

Thus, a number of casino owners, including businessman Oleg Boyko, study the possibilities of transferring his business to the city of Narva, Narva-Yesuu and Sillamae.

In Estonia, the owner of the largest entertainment concrete concern Ritzio Entertainment Group has already two companies - Citycasino and Bally's Casino.

Narva real estate entrepreneurs told the newspaper that Boyko wants to open at least four casinos in the city and is looking for premises for them.

The newspaper notes that Narva and its environs can become a kind of Las Vegas for players from St. Petersburg and Moscow, as it is located closer than the reservations planned in Russia for the gambling business.

Interfax recalls that in Russia, from July 1, 2009, a new law on gambling will enter into force, according to which the entire business connected with the casino must be transferred to the Altai Territory, Primorye, Rostov and Krasnodar, as well as to the Kaliningrad region.
