EU announced new sanctions against Iran

The European Union on Tuesday announced a new list of sanctions against Iran. New sanctions are directed against individuals and legal entities related to the Iranian nuclear program.

It is known that a list of companies and people prepared in the EU is greater than a similar list of the UN. Banking accounts of eight companies in European banks will be frozen, and fifteen people from now on is forbidden to come to the EU countries. The companies in question are mainly branches of Iranian atomic energy organizations and the organization of defense sectors. The list of individuals includes people from the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Cut Agazade up to nine people who recently received awards for their work in the country's nuclear program from President Mahmud Ahmadi.

Although Iran claims that its nuclear program is extremely peaceful, the USA and the EU suspect that Tehran is striving to create nuclear weapons.
