
The Tyumen Regional Court sentenced 24-year-old Andrei Gulyaev, 20-year-old Sergei Dmitriev and 19-year-old Vladimir Shukst, found guilty of rape and murders.
As the investigation established, on May 18, 2006, at 11 o’clock Dmitriev with friends at the building of the West Siberian Humanitarian Institute in Tobolsk robbed a 17-year-old student, taking her cell phone from her. After that, the girl was dragged into a private house and the three of them were raped.
The witness of the crime was a 29-year-old woman who accidentally ended up in the house. Since the victim told the rapists that she would declare to the police, they decided to kill both girls, reports aloud.ru .
The criminals took women to the shore of the Irtysh and there brutally stabbed. The forensic experts counted 25 wounds on the body of one of the victims, about 70 on the body. Two days later, local residents found the corpses of the dead.
On May 24 and 25, 2006, during the operational investigative events, Gulyaev and Shukst were detained and arrested. Dmitriev, having hit the police officer, tried to hide, but was detained and arrested.
The court found Dmitriev guilty under Part 1 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code (robbery), paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Art. 131 of the Criminal Code (rape by prior conspiracy by a group of persons using the helpless state of the victim), P.P. "A, w, to" Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the murder of two persons, a group of persons by prior conspiracy, in order to hide another crime), part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities).
Given the punishment on the first sentence of April 7, 2006 under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing grievous bodily harm that caused the death of a person), the court appointed him 30 years in prison with serving a sentence in a penal correctional colony, of which the first 10 years in prison.
The court found Gulyaev and Shuksta guilty under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Art. 131 of the Criminal Code, P.P. "A, w, to" Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced each to 22 years in prison with a sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
The court also sentenced to recover 200 thousand rubles from the convicts as compensation for non-pecuniary damage in favor of an 8-year-old son of a 29-year-old deceased. The mother of the murdered student of convicts must pay 315 thousand 475 rubles as compensation for non -pecuniary damage and burial costs.
