Mass fight in the court of Brussels: relatives of the sentenced

The mass fight occurred in the Palace of Justice in Brussels after the sentencing to six criminals.

According to the local media, the brawl between the protection and relatives of the accused began immediately after the judge sentenced them to the maintenance of a maximum regime in a period of six years for abduction of a minor in order to receive ransom.

According to eyewitnesses, after the judge announced the verdict, they began to strike at the door of the judicial chamber. Dissatisfied with a harsh sentence, relatives and friends broke into the hall, breaking through a cordon, RIA Novosti reports.

It was not possible to prevent the fight, even despite the fact that before the court hearing, the state of guard was increased to 30 people, and the entrance to the court was strictly limited even by the family members of the defendants.

As a result, when the guards tried to withdraw the convicts from the courtroom, they literally had to fight off the attackers. The arrived enhanced police officer out of the way managed to calm down the instigators of the fight, who were detained.
