
According to preliminary data, as a result of an explosion of household gas in a residential building in the village of Yakovlevka, Primorsky Krai, four apartments were destroyed and there are victims, Interfax reports.
“Previously, as a result of the explosion of household gas, in a two-story 6-apartment building of the village, four apartments were destroyed. Two victims that were taken to the hospital were removed from under the rubble,” said the deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies Viktor Beltsov. According to him, up to six people can be under the rubble.
The explosion occurred on Thursday, at 22:15 Moscow time. Beltsov noted that rescuers and firefighters work at the scene. In addition, additional forces of rescuers are sent to Yakovlevka.
