At the profile business magazine, the editor -in -chief has changed: instead of George Bovt, this position will be occupied by a popular journalist Mikhail Leontyev, most known as the host of the Television program "However".

In an interview with Interfax on Tuesday, Leontiev confirmed the fact of appointment. “Yes, I was appointed editor -in -chief,” he said.

Talking about the appointment of "Echo of Moscow" , Leontyev admitted that this decision was "rather strange", but he was presented with such conditions that he could not refuse.

Leontyev said that he would not spend in the journal "Cleaning", that he "has time to make the magazine as he liked him." “I would like everything to be calm, I do not like to force people to work by force,” added Mikhail Leontyev. At the same time, he noted that "we need to figure out how it all works, has not worked in the press for so long, and it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the magazine."

The journalist emphasized that he would continue to work on television.
