A suspect of the murder of an 8-year-old girl in Altai began to give a confession

In Altai, a local resident, arrested on suspicion of rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl in Gorno-Altaysk, began to testify. As it turned out, the man was released from a maximum security colony just two months before this crime.

According to the prosecutor of the Altai Republic Andrei Volkov, the accused, who is currently in custody, was previously convicted four times for theft. The last time he was released from places of imprisonment at the end of February this year.

The accusation of the detainee was brought under paragraphs "B" and "K" of Part 2 of Art. 105 (murder), paragraph "in" part 2 of Art. 131 (rape) and paragraph "in" Part 3 of Art. 132 (sexual actions with the use of violence against the victim, committed in relation to a person who is obviously not reaching the age of 14).

8-year-old Archynai Yaymin went missing on April 29. The girl left the house to take a walk into the yard and disappeared. The child’s body on the sixth day of searches with signs of violent death was found in a drain pipe on the banks flowing within the city of the Maima River.
