The accident at the Yubileinaya mine, which claimed the lives of 39 miners, occurred due to a closure, the State Commission found out

Experts of the State Commission for the Investigation of the Causes of the accident today went down to the Yubileinaya mine and examined the emergency site at a depth of 520 meters, where on May 24, a methane explosion occurred, which claimed the life of 39 miners.

According to the regional department of Rostekhnadzor, on this site "as a result of the tension of the cable combine cable, it was pulled out of the introductory device" and then was followed by its closure on the corps of the launching combine, which provoked an explosion of methane, ITAR-TASS reports.

“Experts took 30 samples of coal dust to participate in the explosion. Now experts are working on the clarification of the issue - where did the high concentration of methane come from in the development,” said Svetlana Ermashova, press secretary of the Rostekhnadzor Office for the Kemerovo Region. According to the representative of the State Commission, if there was no certain concentration of methane on this site, then the combine would simply turn off as a result of the closure.

According to the experts of the State Commission, who today visited the emergency site, mining and mining equipment as a result of the explosion suffered slightly. At the moment, the mining atmosphere in the mine has normalized, this allows specialists to carry out all the necessary investigative actions.

As specified in the regional department of Rostekhnadzor, restoration work at the Yubileinaya mine will begin only after the investigation of all the circumstances of the accident.

Earlier, experts among the causes of the accident called the sudden emission of methane on an emergency area. Rostekhnadzor gave the State Commission for 15 days to investigate the causes of the accident at the mine.

It should be noted that in connection with the accident at the "anniversary" at all underground enterprises of the company "Yuzhkuzbassugol", total industrial safety checks began. For three months, two major accidents occurred at the company's enterprises that entailed numerous victims. On March 19, as a result of the accident at the Ulyanovskaya mine, 110 miners were killed.

Employees of their own industrial safety department "Yuzhkuzbassugol" check each slaughter in the mines. If the violations are detected, then the work of the coal site is suspended before they are eliminated. Own industrial safety management was created in the company on the eve of the accident at the Yubileinaya mine. In addition, the slabs of all 12 mines of the company will soon check Rostekhnadzor again.

Today it became known that the condition of the 50-year-old Vasily Mamonov improved, who, after the accident at the Yubileinaya mine, was delivered in serious condition to the Leninsk-Kuznetsk Center for Mine Health Protection. Doctors are sure that the life of this miner is already out of danger, today he is transferred from resuscitation to the orthopedics department. As a result of the explosion of the meta-air mixture, Vasily Mamonov received multiple injuries. Previously, the doctors evaluated his condition as stably serious.

On the night of Saturday to Sunday, the 33-year-old Eduard Lyakh died in the center of health. The best doctors of the region fought for his life, but they could not get him out of a coma. In two hospitals in Novokuznetsk, five miners are now treated, injured in the explosion on May 24 at the Yubileinaya mine. They have burns of 1-3 degrees and various injuries. Doctors evaluate their condition as satisfactory.
