Vice-mayor Volgograd was hospitalized after an accident

In Volgograd, as a result of an accident, Vice-mayor Dmitry Lunev was hospitalized, who oversees social issues in the city administration, RIA Novosti was told in the regional traffic police of the BDD.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, Lunev was hospitalized in the hospital with a concussion and a bruise of the chest.

The Volgograd administration has confirmed information about the hospitalization of the vice-mayor.

“Indeed, Dmitry Lunev was hospitalized in the hospital on Friday evening as a result of a traffic accident,” the head of the Volgograd Administration, Marina Krieger, told RIA Novosti.

The accident occurred on Friday in the city center at 22:10 Moscow time. The driver of the Gazelle car, following Lenin Avenue towards Krasnoznamenskaya Street, drove to a prohibiting traffic light and a collision with the Volkswagen car, in which the vice mayor was located.
