Pure absurdity

Boris Berezovsky tried to create another sensation on Thursday at the BBC London studio. He not only stated that he “has the right to overthrow Putin from the throne, despite the overwhelming support of the president from the Russians,” but also told English journalists that he finances the “Other Russia,” and Garry Kasparov, who denies this fact, is lying because as "weak". Previously, Berezovsky had already surprised activists of the Other Russia with similar statements: in an interview with the British The Guardian on April 13, he also hinted that the opposition coalition existed with his money. However, later he immediately retracted his words. Since the average citizen, apparently, will never know for certain how, to whom and why Boris Abramovich’s money travels, the most ordinary questions arise. If Berezovsky really spends his money on strengthening the Russian opposition, then why would he discredit it by making such contradictory statements and, even more so, by accusing the leaders of lying? And if not, then what is the point of these statements? This way you can come up with the most fantastic theories: for example, that Berezovsky is playing into the hands of the Kremlin. It seems impossible, but this version at least explains something.
