As far as I understand, in addition to the very fact that this provision of the law “On Burial” is recognized as corresponding to the Russian Constitution, there are some nuances there. Firstly, the court ordered government agencies to ensure that the burial was carried out according to religious rites, which is very important for Muslims, and secondly, it secured the right of relatives to seek rehabilitation. Of course, in general I am dissatisfied with this decision of the Constitutional Court, but on the other hand, we now live in such a time that one could expect the worst. As far as I know, the mothers of the victims who appealed to the Constitutional Court with this statement do not express complete dissatisfaction with this decision. And to a certain extent, they even consider this decision their small victory. In this sense, I focus on their opinion. My personal attitude to the problem - of course, it must be revealed. I am absolutely sure of this. By the way, Vladimir Petrovich Lukin, a completely non-radical-minded person, a government official, also publicly spoke about the need to extradite. The justification given is quite trivial, that supposedly, if the bodies of terrorists are given to relatives, this will contribute to the glorification of terrorists. In my opinion, this is a controversial issue: even if we approach it purely rationally, forgetting about humanistic ideas, the thesis remains very controversial, in my opinion. It is not known what contributes to greater glorification: the extradition and subsequent funeral of a person, as part of a standard ritual. Or non-extradition - and there is a big discussion around this problem. Moreover, very often one or two people are actually terrorists, but dozens are not. Through this procedure they actually increase the number of terrorists and the number of people who sympathize with them. In addition, it is known that this problem has contributed to the creation of an entire business - they trade in bodies, burial sites, even photographs of the dead. And the Constitutional Court, with its decision, actually secured the existence of this business.
