As it became known to the publication, the house was bought a few months ago, after Putin decided not to stop at any of the Gvatemala hotels. As the publication explains, the president made such a decision due to the fact that there is no Russian embassy in this country. Putin stopped in the house for only two days.

120 workers were hired to finish the house and installation of the security system. In this house, Putin planned to receive MOK members.

Meanwhile, according to RIA Novosti, the presentation of the Sochi resort city has ended, which claims to hold the 2014 Olympics. The presentation was opened by the head of the Sochi-2014 announcement committee Dmitry Chernyshenko. Having greeted the IOC members and participants in the Olympic movement, he said: "I was honored to present you the strongest Russian team in history." According to Putin, Russia plans to abandon the now minimum stay of the Olympic delegations in the capital of the Games, and this decision will be enshrined in law.
