The Moscow authorities decided to build a kindergarten on Mantulinskaya Street in the center of the capital, and not the synagogue of the Jews-Sefard.

According to an Interfax agency today a source in the city administration, the corresponding order was signed by the mayor of the city Yuri Luzhkov.

"According to the mayor’s order, the document on the religious organization" Moscow Community -Sefardov "of the land plot on Mantulinskaya Street is recognized as lost," the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, Yu. Luzhkov instructed Moskomarchitek in 2008 to choose a land plot for the placement of the synagogue and the cultural and religious center of the Jewish-Sefard community outside the Central Administrative District of Moscow.

"Within a three -month period after the document exit the Department of Property, the Department of Education and the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the capital, it is necessary to make proposals to resume the activities of the children's preschool institution on this land plot," the city administration said.
