Stay alive?

The television season ends with live broadcasts - as usual, in the summer they give Berman and Zhandarev, who were pushed behind the grid, a breath of air, and a new program has appeared on “First” - “Good Night”. It’s nice to watch and listen to Semyon Chaika and even Ksenia Strizh. But all these summer relaxations only sharpen the impressions of the whole season, where live broadcasts, live reactions, genuine feelings and honest news are almost completely absent on the main channels. Against this background, TNT programs seem almost like a new word, where real, non-fictional people act and there is an unvarnished reality.

From the uneventful season, Nikolai Dostal’s television feature film “Lenin’s Testament”, the untimely deceased talented project “Fight Club”, several documentaries of talented authors (Leonid Mlechin, Nikolai Svanidze, Liliya Vyugina), Alexander Gordon with “Closed Screening” will remain in the memory.

I managed to see Pyotr Shepotinnik's program about the Moscow Film Festival late at night - also a joy. By the way, the very good, informative program “Cinema in Details” is leaving the network along with the season. That is, in some form it will remain, only in a very pop form, understandable even to those who don’t care about cinema, and especially about its problems.

Television is increasingly striving to decompose into molecules, not to bother anyone with thoughts and more or less complex information. And where serious matters cannot be avoided, bias and bias stick out so much that it’s better to actually have fun.

This just doesn't work out well. The first entertaining one, that is, STS, so confused the audience with its jumping network and abundance of self-promotion that they no longer wanted to watch. Perhaps only Mikhail Shats is still a great presenter, with an excellent sense of humor.

Once again, like last summer, the main hit of the holiday season remains the TV series “Lost.” Every time it’s simply touching to see how TV presenters and programs flock together and fly south - happily!

Whether our television will be able to stay alive for the viewer with such an attitude towards you and me, I don’t know, it’s a big question. Maybe call the Good Night program and ask for advice?
