Mikhail Gorbachev starred in an advertisement for the French company Louis Vuitton, which produces luxury goods, especially the bag, reports the Air Force .

On Louis Vuitton advertising posters, the last leader of the Soviet Union is depicted in the rear seat of a car near the Berlin Wall. Next to it is Louis Vuitton bag. The author of the photograph was the famous American photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Also in the new Louis Vuitton advertising campaign, French actress Katrin Denev and the spouses of world tennis Steffi Count and Andre Agassi starred.

According to representatives of the company, Gorbachev himself proposed to be photographed against the backdrop of the Berlin Wall, which, when he was the President of the USSR, ceased to divide the city into the eastern and western zone.

Under the terms of the transaction, the company made a donation to Green Cross International Environmental Organization, headed by Gorbachev. The company did not report the amount of donation.

Louis Vuitton plans to post photos of Gorbachev and other characters in his new advertising campaign in magazines in September.
