Actor Mikhail Porechenkov debuted as a director with the film "Day D"

Actor Mikhail Porechenkov debuted as a director-director. His first picture called "Day D" is a kind of remake of the American action movie "Commando".

The film, the name of which is deciphered as the "Paratrooper Day", was shot in community with director Ekaterina Pobedinskaya, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the Movie Pro film company.

The actor himself believes that "the tape cannot be called an action movie in its purest form." According to him, this is, first of all, "the story of the major of the airborne troops and a loving father, who, for the sake of saving the daughter, is ready to go to the end."

The images of the main characters on the screen will be demonstrated by Mikhail Porechenkov himself and his 9-year-old daughter Barbara. The film is also busy Alexander Ursulyak, Mikhail Trukhin and other actors.

"The main task of the film is to show the images of positive heroes," which, according to Porechenkov, "so lacks in modern cinema." His hero falls out difficult trials, among which even the struggle against a criminal group that prepares political murder is shown.

But all this - only for the sake of saving the child: due to different circumstances, the hero’s daughter becomes a hostage to terrorists.

The film is a kind of remake of the American painting "Commando", shot 20 years ago with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role.

The other day, the film crew went to the Krasnodar Territory, where the first frames of the future picture were shot. “At first it was scary,” says Porechenkov, “because we met all together on the site for the first time, but then it became very comfortable and easy.”

The actor and director plans to shoot the picture in a short time, since in the fall he will have to return to Moscow and begin rehearsals at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, where he works.

In parallel, Porechenkov will participate in the filming of the new historical film by Vladimir Khotinenko "Time of Time. Or 1612": he is prepared for the role of Prince Dmitry Pozharsky.
