During the war, the king of the Berlin counterfeiters, Sorowitz (Karl Markowitz - “To Heaven or Hell”, “Commissioner Rex”), by the way, a very real figure (the film is based on his memoirs), ends up in a camp, but even there he does not forget his case, only now he is counterfeiting Allied currency on the orders of the Nazis. “5 Unknowns” (USA, 2007, Simon Brand). An intimate, but no less intense thriller: five men come to their senses in a locked warehouse. None of them remember how he got here, or even their own name. But instead of drinking blood, she decides to become a hunter of her own kind and take brutal revenge on her killers. Not very expensive, but effective and stylish gothic horror action movie. “Forbidden to be shown!” (Larry Clark, Gaspar Noe, Sam Taylor Wood, Marco Brambilla, Matthew Barney, Maria Abramovic and Richard Prince). A work related more to contemporary art than to cinema in its pure form. Seven short stories in which fashionable artists and avant-garde directors explore issues related to sexuality and pornography. Western critics categorically did not like the film, but those interested in the latest achievements of contemporary art are worth watching.
