Three police officers were detained in the Moscow Region for robbery

In the city of Mytishchi near Moscow, three employees of the metropolitan police were detained, who are suspected of robbery, drug trafficking and abuse of authority.

The victim of the criminals was a marital couple, from which the robbers took the jewelry right on the street, reports REGNUM with reference to a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The police explained that on the afternoon of August 15, a man turned to law enforcement agencies. According to the victim, half an hour earlier in Mytishchi, a jeep drove up to his standing car, in which there were several strangers. They introduced themselves to the man and his wife by police officers, after which, under the threat of a pistol, they took gold jewelry from the victims.

An hour after the statement of the crime, the suspects were found on another street in the same Mytishchi. Three men who were in the jeep salon were detained.

The employees of the capital's police were suspected of robbery, and when examining the car of criminals, 8.5 g of heroin and a pneumatic pistol were discovered.

The prosecutor’s office made a decision to initiate a criminal case under three articles of the Criminal Code of Russia - 162, 228 and 286. The suspects were detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Russia.
