Rosstat calculated the difference between rich and poor by profession and region
Highly paid Russians earn 22 times more than their less fortunate compatriots, and the country's total workforce is 33.4 million people, including temporary and seasonal workers. Such data was released on Monday by Rosstat, publishing the results of a study on the distribution of the number of employees and the amount of accrued wages.
The sample survey covered 93 thousand organizations of all types of economic activity and forms of ownership, with the exception of small businesses. It turned out that the ratio of the average salary of the 10% of the highest paid workers to the 10% of workers with the lowest wages on average in the country is 22 times. The gap between the richest and poorest is narrowing slightly. A year ago this figure was 25 times. Experts from the statistical agency explain the narrowing of the gap by higher growth rates of earnings of low-paid workers.
The largest gap in pay for highly paid and low-paid workers - 26 times - is observed in the field of financial activities and in organizations engaged in the provision of utility, social and personal services. In trade, communications and real estate, this gap is slightly smaller - 24 times. In the hotel business and education, the difference between the highest paid and lowest paid employees is almost like in the oil industry - 15 times. The wages differ least of all, by 11-12 times, in the transport sector, in manufacturing and in the production of gas, water and electricity.
According to Rosstat, salaries are up to 1,100 rubles. per month in the country there are 335 thousand people. Over 75 thousand rubles. 225 thousand people earn per month. The largest group - 3 million people - earns monthly from 7.4 to 9 thousand rubles. Most of all workers have a minimum wage - less than 1100 rubles. per month - in agriculture (6.4%). In fishing and fish farming and, oddly enough, in the communications sector there is 1.5%. There are no such things in the mining industry. In education, minimum wages are found in 1.4% of workers.
Salary over 75 thousand rubles. According to statistics, no one receives a month in agriculture, 0.1% of such people in healthcare, education and textile production. In the financial activities of employees with such a salary, 4.8%, slightly less - 4.6% - in fishing and fish farming and 2.2% - in the field of mining. Moreover, the latter's salaries on average were not the highest - most of the workers receive monthly from 25 to 35 thousand rubles.
Regionally, the highest earnings are over 75 thousand rubles. ended up in the Yamalo-Nenets (5.1% of workers) and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (2.3%), in the Sakhalin region (2.6%) and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (2.5%).
The largest number of people receiving a salary of up to 1,100 rubles live in the Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous Okrug (6.7%), Dagestan (6.6%), Kalmykia (4.2%) and Aginsky Buryat Autonomous Okrug (3.5%) . But in the Khanty-Mansiysk, Koryak Autonomous Okrug, Kamchatka, Magadan, Sakhalin region and the Jewish Autonomous Region there are no such people at all. In Moscow, the most common salary range is from 13 to 25 thousand rubles per month, and in St. Petersburg the lower limit moves to 9 thousand rubles.
