The Moscow priest Alexy, who left the state of the Moscow Patriarchate, intends to open a church parish for representatives of sexual minorities.
According to the Moscow Komsomolets , Father Alexy relatively long ago left the ROC and belongs to the international reform movement, the renewal church.
“I am very impressed with by the philosophical statement:“ The church is not a system and not an institution, but an organism of the truth of love, ”says the priest. - When in my life the church turned out to be a system in which creativity is impossible, I went beyond the state of the Russian Orthodox Church. The step was difficult, but I do not regret. The main thing - I realized that God is love. "
The idea of creating a parish for representatives of sex minorities occurred to him after the procession of representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation in May, during which the participants were subjected to violence. “They beat one of the participants. His comrade ran to the type in the cassock with the words:“ Father, help! ”And the father hit him in his face with his fist,” he said MK.
“Gay turned to me. He came for advice and told my story. And what should I do? Drive the damned sodomit?! We couldn’t talk. Then others appeared. It’s a rarity when the Orthodox priest will listen to the story about non -traditional orientation. At the same time, any person has the right to spiritual life,” said Alexy’s newspaper.
According to the priest, the parish for representatives of non-traditional orientation will be in Moscow, since "the gay community is quite large here." The German Pentecostal, as well as the renovation of the Churches of Europe and the USA, already promise support to the new arrival.
In the meantime, the “gay-to-convey” is located in a Moscow apartment, and, according to the priest, he already has eight parishioners. “I understand perfectly well that I will probably be cursed for this. On the Internet they are already called a“ sodomite in the cassock. ”By the way, I am married, I have children,” says Father Alexy.
