"He surrendered to the military patrol on Wednesday at about 22:30 local time (20:30 in Moscow) at the landfill near the village of Svobodnaya near the part that he left. The PM pistol and 15 rounds to him also handed over to it. Now the military prosecutor's office is finding out all the details of the incident," Valery Gorelykh said.
23-year-old ensign Vladimir Bazelev, the company of a company of a separate battalion of security and intelligence of the Nizhne-Tagil missile unit on August 20, as a result of careless handling of weapons (PM pistol), inflicted a fatal gunshot wound to the head of Nicholas Ishimov. After that, Basel, who was on duty in the unit, frightened by his deed, disappeared from the place of service with weapons, reports ITAR-TASS.
According to the military, Vladimir Bazelev was born on August 3, 1984 in a prosperous medium -sized family, he had no drives to the police. He was called up to the service from the Unilsky district of the Kirov region in November 2002. Having served two years in the security company of a separate battalion of security and intelligence of the Nizhny Tagil missile unit, Bazelev was trained at the Ensign School and returned to further undergo a service in the same unit. Commanders and colleagues characterize him positively, he was allowed to carry out a service with weapons.
Basalev’s colleagues are surprised by the incident. Describing an ensign, they noted in the military such qualities as "perseverance, self -confidence, sobriety in judgments." In the missile connection, they find it difficult to explain, "as an experienced military man could commit such an absurd murder."
As previously reported, over the past three years in the guards and intelligence battalion, where the ensign Bazelev was serving, not a single incident or crime has been registered.
The incident was reported to the military prosecutor of the garrison and state security authorities. A criminal case has been opened.
