The new head of the Moscow Department of Education also opposed the exam: it does not allow knowledge to evaluate knowledge

The Unified State Exam (USE) does not provide the possibility of a qualitative assessment of students' knowledge. Such an opinion, as ITAR-TASS reported, was expressed by the head of the Department of Education of the capital Olga Larionova.

“As a former school teacher of mathematics, I can say that according to the results of the exam, it is difficult to conclude how well the child knows this subject,” she believes, “since tests do not allow to evaluate the level of logical thinking.” According to Larionova, "not very good exam and so that universities can take away creative guys."

As Larionova said, the task of an independent assessment of the quality of education is set, and the forms of such an assessment should be investigated. “The USE is not the only possible form of independent assessment,” the head of the department emphasized.

The New Gazeta notes that Larionova’s predecessor Larionova’s predecessor Kezin was an irreconcilable opponent of the exam. Moscow conducted an obligatory exam in the Russian language only in the seventh year of the experiment. From Rosobrnadzor it sounded more than once that the department of Kezina exam was ignoring.
