Weather and health

The weather in the northwestern half of European Russia continues to be determined by the North Atlantic cyclone. The center of the cyclone over the Gulf of Bothnia. In the southern part of the cyclone, southwestern winds prevail, which carry warmer air into central Russia. The Atlantic cyclone will continue to determine the weather in the northwestern and northern regions of the European territory of Russia, as well as the western ones, over the next two days. In the south of European Russia, the influence of the atmospheric fronts of the southern cyclone is increasing, but with them there will be rain only in places. In the middle zone, weather conditions are formed by an anticyclone, but even here atmospheric fronts intervene. Rain is expected in the northwestern regions, which will be heavy in some places on Monday, temperatures at night will be +8...+13оС, during the day +11...+17оС. There will be almost no rain in the center of Russia both on Monday and Tuesday, the temperature at night will be +5...+10оС, during the day +17...+22оС.

In the capital, no precipitation, maximum temperature +18...+20оС, in the region +17...+22оС, southwest wind, 4--9 m/s.

In St. Petersburg it is raining, heavy in places, during the day +13...+15оС.

Both days in the north-west of European Russia the weather will remain damp and cool. In such weather, exacerbations of chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs, diseases of the musculoskeletal system: polyarthritis, arthrosis, osteochondrosis, radiculitis are very likely. In central EPR, the oxygen content in the air is close to normal, and weather conditions are favorable for most people.

On September 3, additional stress on the body can create individual fluctuations in the geomagnetic background.
