The explosion occurred 10 minutes after the phone was put up for recharging. The device was purchased in 2004.

The woman’s burns were not very serious: doctors let her go from the hospital on the same day.

Previously, Nokia announced a replacement of 46 million explosive BL-5C batteries . It is noteworthy that a BL -D3 battery exploded in this phone.

The victim will receive monetary compensation from Nokia, if the audit shows that her phone and battery were real.
