EXHIBITIONS
Victor Ufimtsev: “We called ourselves innovators...” The exhibition presents 90 paintings and graphic works, several works from museums in the city of Omsk, from the Museum of Oriental Art and a significant part from private collections. Ufimtsev entered the artistic life of Russia in 1919. Partly under the influence of David Burliuk’s exhibition and lecture in Omsk, partly from the general ideas of building a new society, Ufimtsev changes his creative line from student-realist to futurist. The exhibition features his avant-garde works of the 1920s - sketches of posters, bold costumes, Suprematist compositions and even fragments of his own handwritten book.
