EXHIBITIONS

"Chanel. World of Art." Samples of Coco Chanel models against the background of works of art of the twentieth century. "Raoul Wallenberg: alone in the field." The exhibition is organized by the Jewish Museum in Stockholm and travels throughout Europe with the support of the Swedish Institute. It is being demonstrated in Moscow for the first time. Documentary materials, photographs and exhibits presented at the exhibition will tell the story of a man of exceptional civic courage who saved thousands of Jews from the Nazis during the Second World War. The exhibition covers a significant period of Wallenberg's life, tracing his development from childhood and highlighting his humanitarian mission in Budapest. The exhibition also features a section entitled “Andrei Sakharov: I, too, was looking for Wallenberg,” which includes correspondence between Academician Sakharov and Wallenberg’s relatives. Through personal courage and negotiation skills, Raoul Wallenberg managed to save thousands of Hungarian Jews.
