The Other Russia submitted a list of candidates for deputy from the opposition coalition to the Central Election Commission. The list was approved at the All-Russian Congress of the Opposition Coalition held on September 30. The federal three included Viktor Gerashchenko, Garry Kasparov and Eduard Limonov. In addition, Kasparov was chosen as a single presidential candidate from the opposition. The list of “undesirable” deputies was accepted from the hands of the “other Russians” by Gennady Raikov - he went to the press representatives along with Garry Kasparov and Eduard Limonov. Raikov stressed that the election commission will act strictly in accordance with the law. After submitting the documents, the leaders of the Other Russia, Garry Kasparov and Eduard Limonov, said that the Central Election Commission promised to send a response on October 2. However, according to Kasparov, this indicates that “the answer is predetermined, and it will be negative.” According to the coalition leaders, they do not intend to stop at submitting the list. “We are engaged in normal political activities,” Kasparov said.
